Civil Rights

As an American, I feel it is useful to hear our leadership confirm that we are a country based on the freedom of religion, but also liberty for all, as we must not force our beliefs on the freedom of others. Understanding what is defense is useful too, and the concept of not being the supplier of the first physical offense on a someone. Being looked at, looking, being heard, hearing, being spoken to, speaking, giving opinions, growing, changing, reciprocally shaking hands and hugging, these are among safe gestures. A useful, powerful area of agency that we must remember is freedom of speech and publishing, which can be used with peaceful protest. In the USA and abroad it seems we should demonstrate our beliefs, making our rights and opportunities known, such that others may ask for them of their leaders, including political and religious, and nations as well.
