There is a little girl

she is made of money

dollars, dubloons and ore

papyrus, silverbacks, and Earth's core

she is “rich the World over”

she has sharks and loves and doves and geese

she is wild and free and charm and grace

she is in “her own race”

she is a limpid pool, a firecracker, a sparkler

she is all the human stage and a private citizen

she is fir, she is fur, she is mate, she is tea

she is “magnificently free”

she is a whale and a mite

she is a gale and an eagles' sight

she is a goddess in a blade of grass

she is a slew of pixies

she kicks “serious ass”

I think she is so beautiful

we share together strengths

we are angels and demons

we are monkeys and finches

we are “in it for the long haul”

we come back from the front

we “make things sweet”

At fifty, I want a community

of adults who are in there 100's

when I am in my 100's

I hope you will “choose to stay”
