Dopamine?

Dopamine is said to reward whether you are correct, or not: if you think you are. Truth and trust are only perspectives. But doing something wrong and telling oneself it's good is basically what dopamine does. Getting away with something that shouldn't be done (addiction) rewards with dopamine and so does doing something begrudgingly that you feel you should. Dopamine is a sarcasm/schadenfreude response, not pleasure, in my opinion. Here it is not just others' misfortune, it is self's. Is there another word for that? Dopamine. The pain response that follows is punishment, or urge to do it and restraint. I have been looking at various Youtube videos where dopamine is wrongly identified as pleasure, resulting in pain and seeking balance in homeostasis. Anecdotally, I say use the tyrosine and phenylalanine that precursor dopamine to create an adrenaline like norepinephrine or epinephrine to fill the receptor with more beneficial material and use it for joy in creating your perspective in a way that feels whole and just. It will still only be a perspective, but how different?

So sorrowful it trips you into thankfulness from resolve?  Serotonin.
Try cortisol instead to bring more satisfaction/joy (but it's afraid of not having joy 2/27/22 4:56a) so it stores it (6/8/25 11:58p).

Dopamine's rewarded is for being wrong if you think your're right, even if you don't know you're wrong (might seem good depending what other hormones are being compared 10/22/22 1:42a).
