granted

 would you have liked to give 

more permission, or not give it

in life, taken something for granted?

those who came before had a 

lot less choice & privilege.

do we take for granted what has

become our rights?  

do we moderate the law properly

to reflect our interest in 

correcting society's struggles?

do we strive to better ourselves 

as we think, behave, act, vote, respond?

as we think, behave, act, vote, respond

nonviolent style toward self and others

can be explored to our benefit.  

let's just admit defense is sometimes

appropriate, and may also be nonviolent.

to behave legally, and have needs met

is an ideal choice to take for granted.

this post is about appreciating our legal evolution of ages

while still recognizing laws must be refined as we progress.

safety, expression, help with health, ownership, voting, 

reproductive rights are imperative to all rights.
