Birthday Celebration
parents who kept me
their rights to have their baby
they knew me for millennia
kept me as I am for my chosen
turn
I love us
we who weathered the storms
learned and created, observed
objected, omitted, and rejoiced
always connected, always one
in each now grown to ostensive
six, even weaving five together
in a triumphant device
parents, organize me, uplift me,
believe in me, encourage me
and I do you, eternally
On birthdays we give three
"START PLANNING" days.
One day of glorious celebration
(the actual celebrated day).
Three rounds of singing birthday
wishes suggested minimum.
Three "HAPPY NEW YEAR" days.
To total seven days of merriment
for the birthday person.
Act out scenes from life together.
Point at the dna you carry for them.
Recall conversations and agreements.
Be flexible to adjust to new ideas.
Give and Get respectful kissies.
We are having peanut brittle with
peanuts, pumpkin
seeds and chestnuts.
